Bernie's travelling inspiration- Saunaleva

              Bernie's  travelling Inspration

On Monday the innovative aviators and the high flyers went to the hall for our guest to come in and share his travel stories, his name is Bernard and he comes from Melbourne.

He has three sons and they all have talents his eldest son was put in to the gymnastics when he was 5 years of age and now he is 25 years old, and he's still doing gymnastics.  His middle son decided to join hip hop  since he was little and he is now 14 years old he still does hip hop some times his dad Bernard learnt some of his sons moves. His younger son didn't know what to be when he grows up, so what they talked about basking on a Friday night for money. This is when he was 7 years old and he made 7000 dollars when he finished.

During his performance he would tell us about all the places he has been to.  He would tell us why he would travel and explore all these new and exciting places.  He told us every where he has been; he talked about how he would listen, taste, smell, and look at everything in the culture he has explored.

Also he learned how to be creative with these hula loops, his goal was to make lots of different animals while he is spinning and to keep on spinning until the music stops, but also he said that he will pick someone to re-create what he did with the hula hoops.

In my view he chose a lovely girl named Gazelle. she was so amazing, she did well with the hula hoop.  She became an eagle and some other animals she made I didn't see that well.

As he was speaking to us, he performed a sign language item from his native Americans side.
While he was performing he told us to join in with the sign language, so we all as a team using our participation joined in with him and it was very good.

He showed us how to use the poi's.  The poi's was from his mum,  since he was a little boy his mum liked to make poi's.  This meant that him and his siblings were able to practice. After he showed his skills with a poi.  He asked some children to get on stage and have a go. I was one of them.
