ILE maths this week we were learning how to solve a fraction of a whole number. We first drew six groups. Then we divided the whole numbers into the each group evenly. We used repeated addition and multiplication to see how many goes into each group.
After we knew how many are in each group. We could work out what is 2/6 of 24 or 4/6 of 24. It was fun drawing all over the whiteboard to see our working out.
