Girls Rugby- 2nd place winners

Today the girls rugby team went to Bruce Pulman to compete in the year 5 and 6 rugby tournament. 

  

We arrived at the ground to actually practice our line outs and scrums :)

Our first game was against Manurewa Central school.  The girls have never played rugby in a competitive competition.   So, this was their first game ever.

Second game was against Clendon Primary School

In the fourth game we played Wiri Central.  This was another tough game.  The girls were down 15-0 at the half. 

This game finished 25-15 to US!!!!!! Great second half girls good determination shown with not giving up.  

OUR GIRLS DID SO WELL AND WE FINISHED WITH A PLACING OF SECOND PLACE YAY TO US.  CLENDON TOPPED THE TABLE. WE WILL GET THEM NEXT TIME.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PARENTS THAT CAME TO WATCH AND BROUGHT OUR GIRLS TO THE GROUND.
