Welcome to week 10

It is an action pack week.  We are completing our inquiry on simple machines.  The children have 3 challenges this week.  

Work to be done

Reading: task is to research information about a machine and explain the function of the simple machine inside

Learning outcome is to summarise and write in their own words the information gathered.

Writing: To explain how they built the machine, what the function of a simple machine, and how it effects their world

Learning outcome is to ensure they have structured their writing that explains their machines

Researching information

Children learnt to talk to google instead of typing to find information

Children then started their project.  They were given resources to build their machine.  However, if we didn't have the resource for their machine.  They needed to come up with a different resource to use.

Other machine made was lawn mowers, robots, wishing wells and clocks.

These will be displayed with their explanation writing.
